A new hardy Gesneriad for the gesneri-nerds out there! Given us from their collection at the Atlanta Botanic Garden. An herbaceous perennial for the shade, it has huge green leaves covered in velvety hairs and clusters of yellow-throated white flowers dotted with adorable pink spots. Slowly spreading 12 to 18" x 8" tall. Grow in bright shade with regular water when dry. Dies back to a hardy rhizome in winter when grown outdoors but remains evergreen as a houseplant. USDA zone 7.
