Neat, evergreen Mediterranean shrub with narrow, glossy green leaves, aromatic of course, and pink-tinged, white flowers followed by inky blue fruit -- all rather tiny. Flowers are fragrant and attractive to bees. Compact to 6 feet tall by 3 feet wide in 10 years. Best in full sun with very little supplemental water once established. Very amenable to pruning so can be used as topiary or small hedge. Frost hardy in USDA zone 8.
