Phlomis x margaritae

A most pleasing evergreen shrub in the Cistus Nursery garden with rounded silver/white leaves to about 3 inches on plants usually about 4 by 4ft. In spring and occasionally throughout the year, small towers of buttery yellow flowers float like pom poms on upright stalks. Particularly attractive given little summer water full sun and sharp drainage. We prune old seed heads once a year to tidy. USDA zone 8a.
